POWER midfielder Hamish Hartlett will undergo surgery on his injured shoulder this week.
Hartlett has been battling a sore shoulder for some time, and was targeted by the Brisbane Lions after injuring his shoulder in the Round 15 clash at the Gabba.
Since that game, Hartlett has been playing a role primarily across the half-back flank, utilising his skill to provide attacking drives from defense.
Hartlett will undergo surgery this week in order to allow him to prepare fully for 2012 by undertaking a full preseason ahead of the beginning of the campaign.
