To Port Adelaide Members and Supporters,

2011 has been a tough year for all of us, but this week we get a chance to see out the season in style - at Adelaide Oval.

We ALL get an opportunity to be a part of history on Sunday afternoon as the Power takes on Melbourne in what will be the first ever AFL game at the world famous ground.

It’s another proud day for the Port Adelaide Football Club and we want to share it with you.

We’d love all of our Members and Supporters to be there with us as we get a taste of what’s ahead when AFL games move permanently to the City after Adelaide Oval is fully redeveloped.

We’ve had some great news in the past week, with Jackson Trengove and Alipate Carlile committing to our Club’s future, and Keith Thomas joining us as Chief Executive Officer.

As disappointing as our losses have been to everyone involved with the Club, we believe in the journey that we are on with Matty Primus as he develops a playing group that we know will bring success to Port Adelaide.

We have an exciting future and it’s been great to see some of that on show during the past couple of weeks. Losing isn’t good enough at Port Adelaide, but we feel we have begun to show what we are capable of.

Adelaide Oval is a massive part of Port Adelaide’s past success and history. Now it’s our future and so are you, the people who make our Club great. We’d love you and your friends and family to be there at Adelaide Oval from 2.40pm on Sunday as we set the foundation for a new era for Port Adelaide and football in South Australia.

We know how much a City venue will revolutionise football in this State, so be there on Sunday to show everyone what they can look forward to in the years ahead.

Cheers and thanks for all your support.
