Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on the road with your team? This year - for the first time in its 15-year AFL history - Port Adelaide is offering a strictly limited number of supporters an amazing opportunity to find out first hand.

You have the chance to travel with the Power players, coaches and staff when they fly to Launceston, Tasmania, for next month’s Round 20 clash with Hawthorn at Aurora Oval.

Port Adelaide has become accustomed to travelling to the Apple Isle, having played seven AFL games in Launceston for five victories.

But this is our first trip there since Round 8, 2008.

In 2012, it’s making a very select number of places available on the team’s chartered plane to and from Tasmania. Limited seats on the trip are going fast and you need to book NOW.

The game represents another exciting challenge for the Power’s young stars, taking on Lance “Buddy” Franklin and the Hawks … and you can be there for the ride.

It’s the ultimate inner sanctum experience, including return flights with the playing and coaching group, accommodation in the team hotel and reserved seats at the game. Those who join the touring party will also enjoy a range of fantastic experiences including dinner at one of Launceston’s acclaimed winery restaurants and exclusive briefings from the football department.

Port Adelaide chief executive officer Keith Thomas said the trip represented a rare opportunity for Power supporters.

“Travelling with the team is such a unique experience and it’s not something the average person can relate to,” Thomas said.

“You get to experience the whole football journey from start to end. You can watch and feel the build-up and all the moments of quiet reflection that go into preparation for a game of AFL.

“Being with the team you feel anticipation of the players as they head towards their game, you get the inner sanctum experience with the coaches, the thrill of the contest and then the trip home, sharing the joy of victory or the pain of defeat.

“For anyone who loves football, it’s just a fascinating experience.”

You’ll fly out from Adelaide at 10am on Saturday 11 August and return after the game landing back home around 7.30pm on Sunday 12 August.

The cost is $1395 per person or $2395 per couple.
