This is the key message of a letter we will be sending out over the next few weeks to the 3,922 members from 2007 who have not signed up again in 2008. It is no secret that our membership and crowd numbers are down on last year, but the club is dedicated to seeing those numbers increase again.
Off-field success is the key to on-field success, and membership is integral to building that off-field foundation. Membership is the lifeblood of the Port Adelaide Football Club and we need lapsed members to get back on board and be part of the journey toward our next premiership.
Membership funds go directly back to the club to finance the development of players and facilities, to ensure we are at the cutting edge of football and to give us the best foundation to win our next premiership. Quite simply, members contribute directly to our club’s success.
The boys are doing their best on the field, but the club needs support in the way of membership to keep at the cutting edge of football in the drive toward our next premiership.
