THE Outer Army will be on the march to Adelaide Oval this Sunday, commencing from 12.30pm after a pre-match function at the Strathmore Hotel.
It is not too late to let us know you are coming! We just need a rough idea on numbers for catering purposes so please take a moment to email us so that catering can be finalised.
When: Sunday 4th of September
Where: The Strathmore Hotel, North Terrace, Adelaide (private balcony room - upstairs)
Time: 11.00am start
- Door prizes
- Face painting for the kids (and those of us who still feel like kids!)
- First goal raffle
- Finger food served free of charge from 11:30am
- Special lunch menu available for those who wish to buy lunch, just book in upon arrival.
- There will have players and officials in attendance and a couple of presentations to make on the day
March to commence: 12.30pm
We would like to have as many flags and banners on the march as possible to create real colour (and lets make a bit of noise too!)
The route will be across North Terrace and down King William Street into the Victor Richardson gates.
Once inside people can make their way to where they want to sit or stand.
The Cheer Squad has secured the area behind the score board end goals and we encourage everyone who would like to be part of that group to gather there - either in the seated area or on the hill.
The Outer Army will also have a presence on the wing (look for us in front of the Chapel Stand) - anyone wanting to be part of this group is more than welcome to join us.
Those who have kindly taken flags to wave for the season are asked to return them to the trailer which will be parked near the northern car park gates or bring them to the after match function in the Western Grandstand dining room (just look for OA people) so they can be laundered and/or repaired ready for season 2012!
