AH victory is sweet. Three weeks in a row now, Team Boak has wiped the floor with Gray’s Greats - this week I cruised to a 138 point win, and finished 17th for the week in the Power’s Dream Team Group!

I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, but I’m travelling pretty well at the moment, some may even say flying. I’m sitting about 10,000th overall and I’ve just made my second trade for the year, the injured Nick Riewoldt out, Jonathan Brown in - gun for gun.

I’ve also got Robbie Gray coming back off the bench. Cam Hitchcock has been doing well for me, but I have to look after my housemate, so Robbie gets the nod - he better perform! He’d also want his team - Gray’s Greats - to pull their collective fingers out because his girlfriend is no longer in Adelaide to cook for him when he loses our bet!

The Riewoldt trade will be plaguing plenty of Dream Team coaches this week and if you’re in this position, you’ve got a few options.

The first, and probably best option if you don’t already have him, is big Jonno Brown. I’ve taken this option and I’m pretty confident he’ll be scoring 100+ most weeks. With Fev in the side, Browny is pushing up the ground a bit more and taking plenty of marks. He’s also leading the league in goals and this made my decision pretty easy.

A few other options around that price are the ever-consistent Adam Goodes, Freo skipper Matthew Pavlich, gun Sydney on-baller Ryan O’Keefe or, if you can afford him, Paul Chapman - a gun, but he can succumb to injuries at times. All good options, but Browny takes the cake for me.

The other possibility is to downgrade Riewoldt and pocket some cash. Jared Brennan sits at $373,000 and will be tempting a lot of coaches with his average of 120. He can certainly play and with amount of time he spends on-ball, could be a great unique pick. Or you could go someone like Cyril Rioli who will pocket you a very handy $100,000 and potentially score you 100 per week. Good luck with your decision, it certainly took me some time to make!

A few other big names went out this week with Brent Stanton out injured and Jarrad Waite dropped. Stanton doesn’t sound like he’ll be out for too long but the Waite one is a concern. I made a late change before Round 1, trading Waite out for Gilbee - looks like a good move now. I’d sit on him for a week or two and see how he plays in the VFL, still has great scoring potential.

Congratulations to Hamish De Silva whose team the Goth Detectives scored 2,129 to top the Official Pizza Hut Power Dream Team Group for Round 3. Hamish will be able to enjoy a week’s worth of pizza thanks to Pizza Hut.
