The Power has called on young ruckman Fabian Deluca for the first time this year to replace the injured Dean Brogan in Sunday’s clash with Geelong. He is one of three changes to the Power side that was finalised on Friday evening.

Brogan was only able to get through about ten minutes of the Power’s training session at AAMI Stadium on Friday, prompting doctors to rule him out with his troublesome ankle.

Brogan, who started the year in sensational form, will miss his fourth game of the year this week having missed three games earlier in the year, also with an ankle injury.

Deluca has been Sturt’s No. 1 ruckman all year and looked in good form after a hand injury restricted his pre-season. He will be more than able support for vice-captain Brendon Lade.

Livewire Nathan Krakouer is back in the Power side after being dropped last week for the first time in his short AFL career. Brad Symes has been omitted for the second time this year.

As announced on Thursday Jacob Surjan will play after a week off with a corked thigh.

The final 22 to face Geelong on Sunday in the club’s first twilight game at AAMI Stadium is as follows...

Meanwhile, key defender Troy Chaplin had further scans this week on the foot he injured in Round 6. Despite early scans clearing him of a fracture, an MRI taken on Thursday revealed there is in fact a fracture. Chaplin is likely to miss two more weeks.
