JAY Schulz was humble when asked whether he played with any discomfort from his bruised ribs.
"I don't think any player plays at 100% anymore so that's just what you have to deal with," Schulz said.
The truth was, Schulz played with a considerable amount of pain, but it didn't affect his game.

Schulz crashed packs, tackled, harassed - and was rewarded with three goals.
But perhaps the play that best summed up Schulz's courage on the day - and all year for that matter - was his marking attempt on the wing late in the second quarter.
Schulz flew for a grab and was accidentally tunnelled, landing heavily on his back and neck. You can watch the vision in the PTV player above.
A lesser man would've stayed down and perhaps even called for the red vest - but not Schulzy. He was back on his feet a few seconds later and backed up again for the second half.
A great leader, who plays with great courage, the respect for Schulz around the league continues to grow.
