Shane Edwards has been cleared of striking by the AFL Match Review Panel
RICHMOND TIGER Shane Edwards has been cleared of striking by the AFL Match Review Panel.
Edwards, from South Australia, was originally reported for striking fellow Croweater Angus Monfries of Essendon in the clash between the Tigers and Bombers last Friday night.

The Panel determined that the force used by Edwards in the collision was below that required to constitute a reportable offence, having considered the medical report provided by Essendon and dialogue with the officiating umpire.
He will be free for selection to play Port Adelaide at the MCG on Sunday 2 September at 3.15pm (EST).
