THE PORT ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB congratulates Multicultural and Indigenous Next Generation Academy members Martin Frederick and Kai Pudney, and their South Australian teammates for taking out the national under 18 championships.
The Croweaters defeated Victoria Metro by 55 points at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening to claim their first national title since 2014.
Frederick was named in his side’s best players in the final, while Pudney played well in the win over the Allies.
Playing off half back in the final, Frederick racked up 16 disposals, one mark, and three tackles to go with two rebound 50s and one inside 50.
Both 18-year-old boys play for Woodville West-Torrens but both qualify for Port Adelaide’s Multicultural and Indigenous Next Generation Academy.
