PORT ADELAIDE forward Zak Butters has been fined for a bump on former teammate Paddy Ryder in his side’s loss to St Kilda on Saturday night.
Butters was charged with engaging in rough conduct in the third quarter of the match at Adelaide Oval.
Ryder received a free kick at the time for high contact.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.
The incident was classified as a $1500 sanction as a first offence but the 19-year-old can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.
All financial sanctions in 2020 are reduced by 50 per-cent with the amount already reflected above.
