RICHMOND left Adelaide without the four points and will also be a few dollars lighter after the match review of its loss to Port Adelaide.
Three Tigers received fines including forward Jack Reiwoldt who received two sanctions over separate incidents.
Reiwoldt was offered a $1500 fine for striking Port skipper Tom Jonas to the groin during the first quarter of the match at Adelaide Oval.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact and groin contact.
As it was a second offence for the goal kicker, the offence was classified as a $2500 sanction but with an early plea he can escape with a $1500 fine.
Reiwoldt was also charged with engaging in rough conduct against Port midfielder Tom Rockliff during the first quarter of the same match.
The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low body impact and he was offered a second $1500 fine if he enters an early plea.
Brownlow medallist Dustin Martin was charged with a third offence of striking.
It was alleged he struck Rockliff in the last quarter of Port’s 21-point win. As it is his third such offence, he was given a $2500 fine but can accept a $1750 sanction with an early plea.
Marlion Pickett was the last Tiger charged. He has been offered a $1500 fine with an early plea for making forceful front-on contact against Sam Powell-Pepper in the last quarter.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.
It was Pickett’s second such offence.
The result of the game kept Port Adelaide a game and percentage clear on top of the AFL ladder.
