PORT ADELAIDE is thrilled at the news that favourite daughter Erin Phillips has featured in the Indiana Fever’s victory over Minnesota in today’s Womens National Basketball Association championship-deciding game.

The Fever won Game Four of the best-of-five playoff series 87-78 in front of a frenetic home crowd in Indianapolis to finish on three wins with one game in the bank.

Phillips hit 18 points playing guard.

Her father Greg played over 300 games with Port Adelaide in the SANFL, including in eight premierships as well as being a member of the club’s ‘Greatest Team’.

Erin has represented Port Adelaide in previous Slowdown’s organised to support the SA-based Little Heroes Foundation.

She previously played in Poland and Adelaide and has represented Australia on the international stage including in the Opals’ 2008 world championship gold medal winning side.
