Port Adelaide advises that all 10,000 tickets to Saturday’s Round 13 Sir Doug Nicholls Round game vs Hawthorn at the Adelaide Oval have been exhausted.

The reduction in capacity at Adelaide Oval to 10,000 spectators is in line with the State Government’s restrictions against the spread of COVID-19 enforced a fortnight ago.

Port Adelaide executive general manager Matthew Richardson thanked club members for both their support and understanding during this challenging time.

“Yet again we’ve had an incredible response for tickets from our members today, with the limited member allocation snapped up by 12.15pm,” Mr Richardson said.

“Unfortunately, due to the high demand and tickets capped at 10,000, some of our members have not been able to secure tickets for this game.

“We are modifying the priority allocations game by game in order to provide all of our members with the fairest possible opportunity to attend our remaining home games and we will again review that ahead of our Round 14 game versus Sydney.

“We thank all our members for their understanding with this process and acknowledge the disappointment of those who have missed out.

“However, we respect the position our State is in when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic and the decisions our State Government has made to ensure our community remains in a relatively healthy position.

“We still have at least two more home games this season so we look forward to more of our loyal members having the opportunity to watch their team play live at Adelaide Oval in the coming weeks.”
