And in 2007, he also clocked up the most handballs in a Port-Hawks game, totalling 22.
Last week saw Travis Boak lay an amazing 11 tackles.
This week opportunity arises to beat a previous record for most tackles in a Hawthorn match, which stands at 14 by Domenic Cassisi in 2010.

Last weekend, the pressure of Port Adelaide’s defence weighed heavy on Richmond.

He closely shadows Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis of Hawthorn with 57 inside-50s this season.
Jordan Lewis is also in sixteenth position for most disposals so far this season across the league, with 376 possessions.
Isaac Smith leads Hawthorn in inside 50s with 55, maintaining twelfth position across the league this season.
Warren Tredrea holds the club record for most marks inside 50 in a game, totalling 10 marks in a 2006 Hawthorn clash.
As it stands the club record for the most inside 50s in a game is 14 by Jarrad Schofield in a 1999 Carlton clash.
