ST KILDA will be sweating on the fitness of in-form gun defender Jimmy Webster for its clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Webster missed last week’s two-point win over Melbourne after injuring his adductor against Gold Coast in Round 13.

In the VFL, Tom Hickey was instrumental in Sandringham’s victory over Port Melbourne. The big ruckman had 34 disposals, 59 hit-outs, and seven clearances to be the dominant player on the ground.

Josh Bruce showed some impressive signs in his recovery from a long-term back injury, kicking three goals in Sandringham’s upset win.

Defenders Logan Austin and Sam Gilbert also pushed their claims for an AFL recall with solid games in the back-half.

Exciting you forward Josh Battle won’t make the trip to Adelaide after fracturing his eye socket in the win over the Demons, while the experienced Nathan Brown is also likely to miss with a hamstring strain.
