Introducing Alex and Adam
THIS week as part of Corporate Insider, we’d like to introduce you to our Corporate Sales Executives here at the Port Adelaide Football Club
Alex Lahey joins us for her third season, from a background in the sport and the fitness industry. Alex was raised in Adelaide and then spent several years in Perth before returning to Adelaide to join us.
PAFC: Alex, who is your favourite footballer?
Alex: David Rodan, on and off the field, he’s just a great contributor to the Club
PAFC: What do you like most about working for the Club?
A: I love the diversity. Every day here is different.
PAFC: What do you like most about your current role? And what can you bring to new businesses?
A: The people I get to meet. I love exploring options to help them grow their businesses. I also love the opportunity to influence their marketing decisions based around how we at the Club can help them succeed. It’s very rewarding.
Alex is available to meet with you to discuss a range of Club initiatives from major sponsorship to SuiteOne to corporate training and casual hospitality. She can be reached at alahey@pafc.com.au or by calling 0410 276 317.
Adam Johnson commenced as a Corporate Sales Executive with the Power in November. He comes from a retail sales and management background with twenty years experience in the Adelaide market. Adam is married to Zaahn and has a three year old, Sienna, eight month old, Francesca and is seventeen weeks into pregnancy number three.
Adam has been an avid Port Adelaide supporter since 1979 when he vividly recalls watching his now father-in-law Stuart Palmer doing battle with Tim Evans in the forward pocket in the 1979 SANFL Grand Final.
PAFC: Adam, from the selection of new recruits that we’ve taken on board, who do you think looks the most promising, and why?
A: Cameron Hitchcock, he was sensational in the opening NAB Cup round and backed it up last week.
PAFC: What do you like most about working for the Club?
A: The culture of the Club - people’s positive attitudes and abilities. One team - one dream! I like working for the “greater cause” of the Club and the positive impact we have on the community at large.
PAFC: What do you like most about your current role? And what can you bring to new businesses?
A: It’s all new and exciting and it brings me out into all areas of Adelaide interacting with a wide range of businesses. My strengths are in recognizing opportunities for businesses to align themselves with the Club for improved growth.
Adam can be reached directly at ajohnson@pafc.com.au or 0418 806 727 for a conversation around how you can better leverage your business.
