PORT ADELAIDE captain Tom Jonas has been charged with Rough Conduct by the Match Review Officer.
The MRO ruled Jonas applied a dangerous tackle on Bulldog Aaron Naughton during the third quarter of last night's match at Adelaide Oval, after which Naughton was granted a free kick at the time of the incident.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact.
The incident was classified as a $3000 sanction, which Jonas can see reduced to a $2000 sanction with an early plea.
