PORT ADELAIDE forward Charlie Dixon has been fined for striking during his side’s win over Fremantle on Sunday evening.
Dixon was cited by the Match Review Officer for allegedly striking Docker Nathan Wilson during the last quarter of the game at Adelaide Oval.
The big forward finished the game with three goals as Port overpowered the visiting side by 46 points.
The MRO has classified the incident as careless conduct with high contact of low impact.
Dixon has been offered a $3000 fine but with an early guilty plea can accept a $2000 sanction.
Sydney Swans Callum Mills and Sam Wicks have also been fined for striking and misconduct respectively.
