PORT ADELAIDE forward Dylan Williams has been nominated for the SANFL’s Channel 7 Goal of the Week for his classy solo effort in the third quarter of his side’s loss to Sturt.
Williams booted six goals for the day including three in the third quarter.
His fourth goal of the day came in the seventh minute of the third term and has earned him a nomination for goal of the week.
With Port trailing by 22 points, defender Riley Bonner picked up the ball in the centre square and kicked it long inside 50.
Williams, playing one-out in the goal square came running out towards the 50-metre line to collect it before going one way, then the other – selling some candy to an opponent in the process with a fake handpass – and then steadied and slotted the goal.
The other nominees for the Round 11 goal of the week are Sturt’s Henry Carey and West Adelaide’s Kaine Stevens.

Williams is the second Port Adelaide player, behind teammate Ben Edwards in Round 4, to be nominated for the award.
Selling candy and breaking ankles seems to be a common theme in this week's @Ch7Adelaide Goal of the Week
