Something big is coming to Power home games.Due for launch next week, it will be the marquee player as the Power goes about revolutionizing its home game entertainment. The big launch happens on Tuesday (10 April) from 11am at Stephens Place in Rundle Mall. And it will appear for the first time at the Showdown on the following Saturday. But the special big thing won’t be the only addition to Power game days at AAMI Stadium. This Sunday when the Power takes on the Kangaroos, Planet Teal Zone begins at Gate 4 from 10.45am, as soon as the gates open. This is a special area for kids but we’ve looked after the mums and dads too because there’ll be tables and chairs with a coffee stall right there. The Planet Teal Zone will be visited by Power players to sign autographs, there’ll be free face painting, handball competitions, and performances by our very own Power Funk Squad. And if the kids are Planet Teal members, the Planet Teal Zone is the place to get their passport stamped, and claim their reward for being there! While they’re there they should also find out the Planet Teal Codeword so they can enter the competition to win an mp3 player at PlanetTeal.com.auThere’ll also be SMS and trivia competitions at Power home games in 2007. Supporters will have the chance to predict who will kick the first goal and later tell us who the Power player of the day was. There’ll be prizes to be won as well including merchandise packs and gifts from joint major sponsor Vodafone. If you haven’t been to AAMI Stadium yet in 2007, you’re in for a surprise with the audio system. The SANFL has spent $1.5m on the new system that includes more than 490 new speakers. It means you’ll be able to hear great sound, at the right volume, wherever you are around the ground. There’s also a new, second superscreen coming, so everyone will be able to see video replays. That’s just some of what is in store for Power fans at AAMI Stadium in 2007. And with the big surprise still to be launched, it’s going to be a big year at the footy.Don’t forget, season tickets get you a reserved seat at all 11 home games for the price of just six daily tickets. You can buy your season ticket online here or call the club on 1300 GO POWER.
