THE PORT ADELAIDE Football Club is mourning the loss of one of its oldest living players, Mervyn Natt.
Natt played for the club in the 1940s, making his debut in Round 9 of 1945 against Norwood.
He played six games and booted one goal during his career and his sons Chris and Greg each played for the club as well.
Ruckman Chris featured 216 times and kicked 85 goals for Port Adelaide from 1972 to 1983, while Greg played 31 times and booted one goal.
Chris Natt was part of the sides which won the 1980 and 1981 SANFL premierships, and is a life member of the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Mervyn Natt died aged 95 last Wednesday and remained a passionate Port Adelaide person until the end.
The Port Adelaide Football Club sends its sincerest condolences to his wife Nora, children Chris, Lorraine and Greg and wider family, along with his friends and former club mates.
