In: Butters, Clurey
Out: Bonner (omitted), Farrell (injured), Frederick (omitted),
LIVEWIRE forward/midfielder Zak Butters is among two changes made by Port Adelaide for its Thursday night blockbuster against Melbourne.
Butters impressed in the SANFL last week on his return from ankle and knee injuries and is back in the AFL side for his first game since the Round 4 win over Richmond.
He will be joined in the Port Adelaide line-up by key defender Tom Clurey, who spent six weeks on the sidelines after jaw surgery and also performed strongly at SANFL level in the win over Central District last week.
The injured Kane Farrell and defender Riley Bonner make way, while medical substitute Martin Frederick also drops back to the emergency list.
Along with Frederick, Joel Garner, Peter Ladhams and Boyd Woodcock are listed as emergencies with one of them to be named the medical substitute an hour before the game.
Any player not required at AFL level will be eligible to play at SANFL level for Port Adelaide against Norwood on Saturday afternoon.
Port Adelaide will take on the Demons at Adelaide Oval on Thursday from 7:10pm ACST.
