Mitch Georgiades soars for a mark during the Round 17 clash against Melbourne.

PORT ADELAIDE forward Mitch Georgiades has been nominated for the 2021 AFL Mark of the Year for his incredible soaring mark during Thursday night’s clash against Melbourne.

The 19-year old ran towards the pack, leaping onto Melbourne captain Max Gawn’s shoulders and hanging in the air for a moment before bringing the ball to ground.

His mark was a standout highlight in an otherwise disappointing night for the Power.
