Lycett was charged with striking opposition ruckman Brodie Grundy during the Round 19 clash at Marvel Stadium.

Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett has been offered a fine by the AFL’s Match Review Officer following his side’s 28-point win over Collingwood on Friday night.

Lycett was charged with striking opposition ruckman Brodie Grundy during the third quarter of the match at Marvel Stadium.

The incident was assessed as careless, high contact with low impact.

The fine was to be $3000 as a first offence but Lycett can accept a $2000 sanction with an early plea.

Lycett finished the game with a game-high 27 hit-outs to go with 14 disposals, four tackles and three marks.
