PORT Adelaide has ruled out taking any recycled players in the NAB AFL Draft, but could still bring an experienced player to the club before 2013.

Several experienced players are currently without a club, having been delisted since the end of the 2012 season.

Former Essendon player Kyle Reimers, Western Bulldog Justin Sherman and former Blue Bret Thornton are among those hoping to find a new home, but the Power's football manager Peter Rohde told Adelaide radio 5AA the club would not target them.

Rohde said the Power would use the Draft to fill three of the remaining four spots on their list with fresh faces.

The Power will only use picks 7, 30 and 31 at the Draft.

"We're not," Rohde bluntly answered when asked whether the Power would look at drafting a delisted free agent.

"We've got four spots on the list now, we'll be using at least three of them in the national draft."

But, an experienced player could still be added to the Power's list before the start of next season.

Rohde said the club would save one spot on its senior list for the pre-season draft, when it could invite players out to train in the lead up to the final draft before the 2013 season.

"We like the idea of having a pre-season draft pick, we've very often had one, we've probably had as many pre-season draft picks as any club and its served us well over the years," he said.

"It gives you the opportunity to get players out to train, have a look at them and after the national draft measure up your list and see what you might need."
