DESPITE icy cold mornings and getting caught in the rain, winter brings with it one great thing – footy season.
The weather gods kicked it into gear on Friday morning with strong winds and rain, but things are looking more promising for Port Adelaide’s ANZAC Round match with Hawthorn.
We’re expecting showers during the morning, but rain and wind will ease in the late afternoon and evening, leaving a clear, cool evening for the blockbuster game.
It’ll be great weather for the footy – just dust off the winter jacket, bring along your Never Tear Us Apart scarf and you’ll be set.
Let’s be honest…it wouldn’t be footy season without the odd drop of rain.
Weather to clear for ANZAC Day clash
Rain and wind will ease ahead of Port Adelaide's clash with Hawthorn on Saturday night.
