A member of Port Adelaide’s Next Generation Academy, Benny Barrett was added to the club’s list as a category B rookie ahead of the 2025 season. The 18-year-old is a livewire small forward who boasts blistering pace and creativity in the forward 50. In 2024, he featured for both South Adelaide’s under 18s and reserves, as well as for South Australia, where he was named among the best players in his two appearances.
Barrett will continue his football education in 2025, continuing to improve improve and make his mark on Port Adelaide’s program – aiming for an AFL debut in future.
