A former basketballer, Jacob Moss has joined Port Adelaide’s list as a category B rookie in 2025. Standing at an imposing 198cm tall, Moss decided against playing college basketball in the US to instead pursue an AFL career. Having previously played junior football with West Adelaide, Moss has been identified as a player who will develop well in a professional AFL environment.
Noted for his athleticism athletic and strength in the air, Moss boasts an excellent running vertical jump and a huge amount of upside. The 19-year-old trained with Port Adelaide's AFL side throughout 2024 and donned the Prison Bars for the club's SANFL side on two occasions.
Moss will look to further develop his football skills and work toward an AFL debut in the future.
