Identified by Port Adelaide’s recruiting team out of Cheltenham in Melbourne’s Southern League, Lai missed out on being drafted in 2023 but went on to play 12 senior games in 2024 - including a best on ground performance in the Grand Final.
Lai will aim to continue refining his skills in the Port Adelaide program, hoping to continue his development and push for an AFL debut.
