Sam Hayes is a promising young ruckman, measuring in at 205cm. Hayes made his debut in early 2022, managing 11 AFL games in his career to this point. He has taken his opportunity in the ruck where given - averaging 25.3 hit outs across his senior games.
Still evolving as a young player, Hayes is working to hone his craft ability and build some versatility into his game. Working to improve running ability and work at ground level will be a focus for the young ruckman as he looks to crack into a competitive Port Adelaide side.
