Taj Schofield arrived at Port Adelaide in late 2020 after being picked up in the rookie draft. The 19-year-old is the son of 2004 Premiership player Jarrad Schofield and was an automatic selection under the AFL’s father-son rules. Working closely with head of the Next Generation Academy Paul Stewart, and learning from livewire Orazio Fantasia, Schofield is continuing to build his skillset, his body, and his relationships with the playing group.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
