Claimed with the final pick of the 2022 NAB AFL Draft, Kyle Marshall is a tall defender with plenty of natural tools. Very athletic for his height, he is noted for his speed, vertical leap and running capacity. He was one of the best performers in the South Australian Draft Combine in his draft year, finishing in the top five in five out of the six tests.
With a long reach and impressive closing speed, Marshall played 15 games in the backline for South Australia’s under 18s in 2022, averaging 13 disposals and four marks. His agility and good ball use is a clear indication that he has elite athletic potential for a player of his size. He developed strongly in Port Adelaide's SANFL side in 2023 and 2024.
Marshall was de-listed by Port Adelaide at the conclusion of the 2024 season, bringing his time at Alberton to a close.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
