Athletic defender Alissa Brook made her way to Alberton with the club’s second pick (pick 25 overall) in the 2023 AFLW Draft. She caught recruiters’ eye with an impressive showing at the AFLW Draft Combine, recording a 72-centimetre running vertical jump and 58-centimetre standing vertical jump, ranking her inside the top five nationally for both tests. She also recorded a sub-3.3 second 20m sprint which, coupled with her impressive agility, makes her an all-round athlete worthy of a shot at the highest level.
Noted for her height and athleticism, Brook has the potential to have an impact across half back or in a developing wing role and will look to build upon her craft in her first season at Port Adelaide.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
