Midfielder Jo Miller has been upgraded to Port Adelaide’s list following a long-term knee injury to Indy Tahau after impressing as a train-on player. Noted for her impressive endurance and ball-winning ability, the 25-year-old is excited to bring her “go hard attitude” to the team.
A former triathlete, Miller has only been playing football for three years, having begun her journey at the Coorparoo Football Club in Brisbane. Following her time in Brisbane, she had a stint in Darwin before moving to Adelaide to play for Glenelg. Miller made her SANFLW league debut in Round 6, 2024 and ended her season with a second-place finish in Glenelg’s best-and-fairest.
Miller will be looking to bring her professionalism and dedication into the team to make the most of her opportunity to play football at the highest level.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
