Known by teammates and opponents as a fierce competitor, Ange Foley is a versatile player who brings a high level of composure to her game. Across her footballing career Foley has played primarily on the half-back line, but can also push into the midfield and make an impact higher up the ground.
She played every game for Port Adelaide in 2022 and 2023 – a testament to her skill and commitment to her game. She was named vice-captain ahead of the club’s inaugural AFLW season and quickly showed the value of the wealth of experience and leadership she brings to the young side. A member of the leadership group in 2024, she brings leadership and a composed presence to the backline.
At the conclusion of the 2024 season, Foley called time on her memorable 73-game career.
