Originally hailing from the west, Jade De Melo is a talented half-forward with a good eye for goal. Prior to arriving at Alberton, De Melo had a short stint with Fremantle and played for North Adelaide in the SANFLW, finishing in the top 10 for goals in the competition for the 2022 season.
Managing ten games over two years, De Melo provided Port Adelaide with a strong target in front of the big sticks – however form meant she struggled to get consistent time on the park in 2023. The forward was de-listed by Port Adelaide at the conclusion of the 2023 season, bringing her two-year stint with the Power to a close.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
