Midfielder Jacqui Yorston is a bull around the stoppages and loves to win the contested ball. The inside midfielder has shown significant resilience, overcoming a ruptured ACL that saw her miss a big chunk of football. The 23-year-old has played for the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast Suns, previously representing Queensland in the NAB AFLW Under 18 Championships where she was named in the All-Australian squad. She played every game for Port Adelaide in its inaugural season.
Ahead of the 2023 AFLW season, Yorston confirmed she will step away from football for 12 months. The midfielder was de-listed by Port Adelaide at the conclusion of the 2023 season, bringing her time with the Power to a close.
