Maggie MacLachlan is a young forward who has put herself forward as a good ball user with a high football IQ. The 21-year-old prides herself on her long kick, running capacity and ability to read the game.
After missing out on the 2020 draft, her perseverance and hard work saw her added to Fremantle’s list for the 2021 season where she impressed with her intercept marking and skills by foot. She was then picked up by Port Adelaide, forming part of the club's inaugural list. Injury and form unfortunately hampered her 2022 and 2023 seasons, limiting the young utility's time on the park.
MacLachlan was de-listed by Port Adelaide at the conclusion of the 2023 season, bringing her two-year stint with the Power to a close.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
