Lily Johnson was selected with Port Adelaide’s final pick of the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft. Originally hailing from Tasmania, Johnson made the move to South Australia to pursue football at league level and soon earned herself a spot on West Adelaide’s SANFLW list.
The skilful goalkicker made her AFLW debut in 2022 against the Kangaroos and kept her spot to close out the season. In her short time in the senior side, she has shown she can be smart up forward and through the centre of the ground. She made an immediate impact upon her debut, scoring a memorable set shot goal in front of the Port Adelaide faithful.
Seeing minimal game time in 2023, Johnson will be looking to increase her game tally in the 2024 season.
