Former WNBL basketballer Olivia Levicki switched codes to join Port Adelaide, bringing important height to the side. Described as a natural athlete, Levicki was playing basketball for South Adelaide when she was spotted by Erin Phillips – who recognised her natural competitiveness and encouraged her to switch to the Sherrin. Prior to the code switch Levicki enjoyed a decorated career on the court, representing Australia several times as a junior and went on to be selected in multiple Opal squads. She also clocked up almost 200 games in the WNBL.
Standing at 188 centimetres tall, Levicki worked intensely with coaches on building her ruck craft throughout her debut season. With the emergence of young ruck Matilda Scholz, Levicki did not see as much game time in 2023 however did not look a step out of place when called upon.
Levicki called time on her career at the end of the 2024 season, hanging up the boots after 25 games.

We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
