Competition Start Date

Competition commences Monday, 27^th May 2024 at 6.00AM local time.

The promoter reserves the right to tease the promotion prior to the competition start date.

Competition Close Date

Competition concludes Saturday, 31^st August 2024 at 5.00PM local time.

The promoter reserves the right to

A)    Close the competition prior to the competition close date subject to regulatory approval.

B)     Amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion with the prior approval of Consumer and Business Services.

Entry Restrictions

a)     Entrants must be 18 years or over at the time of entry.

b)     Entrants can only enter once, and there is only one (1) major prize that can be won.

c)     Entrants acknowledge that they must be contactable by the Promoter to be successful. Entrants unable to be contacted will forfeit their prize.

d)     Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading, or fraudulent information are ineligible for the promotion and all entries of an entrant who is deemed to have provided this nature of information may, at the sole discretion of the promoter, be deemed invalid.

e)     Entrants must be an Australian Resident and have a registered address in Australia.

f)      All listed prizes are non-transferable.

g)     The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

h)     A participating entrant will not use the prize as an inducement directed at encouraging patrons to gamble, in line with relevant state gambling authorities.

i)      The promotion is not open to employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the Competition. Their entry will be automatically deemed invalid, and no discussion will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to giveaway bonus prizes or entries in its sole an absolute discretion over the course of the Competition Period.  

How To Enter

Online entry for random draw:

At various times during the Competition Period:

a)     The Port Adelaide Football Club will solicit for entries via online, social media, marketing or via in-person event experiences to take part in the competition.

b)     Entrants will need to successfully enter their details via the specified online competition website, including but not limited to full name, email, contact phone number.

c)     If the entrant does not successfully complete their initial entry by entering the required details, they will automatically forfeit their entry.

d)     If the entrant does not agree to be contacted by the Port Adelaide Football Club and MG Motor, their entry will automatically be deemed invalid, and no discussion will be entered into.

Limitation on Entries

Entrants may only enter the competition once.

A minimum of one (1) entry will be deemed valid, and they may only win one (1) prize.

Cancellation clause

If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of weather, computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, event schedule changes, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any element of the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

Draw Details

The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  

The draw will be performed by a random computer process.  

The draw will take place on Monday, 2 September 2024 at 10.00AM local time.

The draw will take place at the Port Adelaide Football Club, Alberton Oval, Alan Scott Power Headquarters, Brougham Place, Alberton.

The winner will be also notified in writing within 7 days of the prize being drawn.

The winner will be published on the Port Adelaide Football Club website by Monday, 2 September 2024 at 12.00PM.

The Promoters decision is final, and no discussion will be entered into.

Prize Details

There is up to one (1) major prize to be one for up to one (1) winner.

Prize:

• 2 x tickets to the 2024 AFL Grand Final
• 1 x travel voucher to cover flights and accommodation for 2 x people to the total value of $3,000 only.

If an Entrant is deemed a winner, they’ll receive one (1) major prize only.

The prize awarded, included but not limited to prize above available to redeem, are subject to availability at the time of draw.

In the event there is a delay in winner receiving their prize, no compensation or replacement prizes will be offered, and no discussion will be entered into.

The value of the prize/s is determined by the Promoter, and no discussion will be entered into.

The Promoter accepts NO responsibility for any costs associated with the prizes, included but not limited to baggage, transfers, transport, petrol, booking fees, clothing, food and drink and no discussion around any associated costs will be entered into.

The Promoter accepts NO responsibility in any capacity for booking flights and accommodation, and no discussion will be entered into. This responsibility is at the sole and absolute discretion of the promoter.

The Promoter accepts NO responsibility for any costs that exceed the total amount of the disclosed travel voucher, including but not limited to accommodation and flights. If the total cost exceeds the amount of the travel voucher, the remaining costs are the responsibility of the winner, and no discussion will be entered into.

If the Entrant is deemed a winner, they must be contactable in order to redeem their prize within a timeframe outlined and determined by the Promoter. If this timeframe is not adhered to by the prize winner, the winner automatically forfeits the prize.

Winner Notification

• The prize winner will be notified via email if they have been successful on winning the prize.
• The prize winner will also be posted on the Port Adelaide Football Club website.
• If an entrant is unsuccessful in obtaining a prize, they will not be notified, and there will be no follow up from The Promoter.

Prize Claim and Delivery

The prize must be claimed within one (1) weeks from the date of winning.

Winners may be required to prove their identity and show photo evidence in the form of identification (I.e. drivers license) before any prize is awarded.

Any unclaimed prize within the one (1) week window will be forfeited, and a redraw will not take place.

The Promoter will not be liable for any prizes that are not delivered to the winner due to external circumstances (including but not limited to event cancellations), and no compensation or replacement prizes will be offered.

Special Conditions

The Promoters decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes awarded are subject to availability and are at the complete discretion of the Promoter.

Should any elements of the prize be changed, moved, cancelled or not available for any unforeseen reason or for reasons outside of the Promoter’s control (including for example COVID-19), the Promoter takes no responsibility, and the Prize Winners will not be compensated.

Prior to acceptance of any prize, the Promoter may require the winner to sign documents including a prize acceptance form, consent to broadcast (such as an image or footage release), non-disclosure agreements, liability or publicity waiver or indemnity form. Any winner that fails to sign any required documentation as requested by the Promoter may be disqualified from the promotion.

The Promoter, in its sole and absolute discretion, may request for more information with respect to an entry. Contact by the Promoter or the does not mean that the entry is deemed the winner.

Entrants indemnify the Promoter and its related entities against any

claim, action, proceeding, loss, or expense arising out of any liability for claims by a third party, or any claims they may have, caused by or in connection with their participation in the Competition or the acceptance of any prize. The Promoter has no ongoing liability to the entrant or their nominated person, for any reason whatsoever.
