Adelaide Oval is situated right in the heart of the city, framed by the River Torrens and surrounding precinct. Whether you’re travelling by car, bus, train or tram, Adelaide Oval’s close proximity to the CBD makes it easily accessible.
Patrons are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the FREE Think! Road Safety Footy Express bus, train or tram services with your valid AFL game day ticket.
All regular Adelaide Metro weekend bus, train and tram services are also free with your AFL game day ticket from first to last service on game day.
Regular Adelaide Metro weeknight bus, train and tram services are free three hours before the game starts with your AFL game day ticket.

Train
The Adelaide Railway Station is located on North Terrace, approximately a five-minute walk across the Riverbank footbridge or via King William Street. For timetables and more information visit the Adelaide Metro website.
Tram
Trams operate between Glenelg and the city with stops located on North Terrace and King William Road (outside the Adelaide Festival Centre). For timetables and more information please visit the Adelaide Metro website.
Taxis
Taxi ranks are located on the western side of King William Road, the southern side of Pennington Terrace and the eastern side of Montefiore Road

Drive into your undercover parking (safe from winter weather) at UPark Topham Mall – a short 10-minute stroll across the bridge.
Adelaide Oval
Adelaide Oval Car Parks Open: (1 hour before Gate Opening)
Casual parking is available, $23 payable upon entry, subject to capacity, Card Only in the following locations:
Uni Lane Car Park - Access Via Pennington Terrace
Oval No.2 Car Park – Access Via Montefiore Road
Torrens Parade Ground – (disability permit and limited casual parking) – access via Victoria Drive
North Car Park, match day rate (permit and casual disability parking only – no casual parking) – access via Pennington Terrace
East Car Park, match day rate (permit parking only) – access via King William Road, northbound
Disability drop off and pick up zones for event days are located on:
War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop-off zone must be accessed from the western side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge (disability permit holders only).
King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic
Pennington Terrace (northern end of Adelaide Oval)
Car Parking Terms & Conditions
Please follow all instructions given by AOSMA and Wilsons Car Parking staff when parking a vehicle.
AOSMA is not responsible for your vehicle or any property in or on it.
Car Parks remain open 2 hours post-event
All vehicles must fit into a standard park. No Trucks, Buses, Trailers or Limousines are permitted.
AOSMA reserves the right to redirect to an alternative parking area in extreme circumstances.
Cycling
Bike racks are located outside the North, South and East gates
Road Closures
War Memorial Drive will be closed from several hours before each Port Adelaide game starts.
