End Game
A positive start by the Port boys was stifled by inaccuracy in the second quarter, however a strong performance by Port’s engine room after the break ensured they were still in the game.
The likes of Travis Boak, Hamish Hartlett, Oliver Wines and Kane Cornes were dominant through the midfield – Boak and Cornes with 30 touches each - and offered a potent Port forward line plenty of opportunities with Justin Westhoff and Chad Wingard the beneficiaries – scoring 4 and 3 goals apiece.
Port’s inaccuracy allowed the more efficient Crows to kick ahead by 16 points at half time, but that was quickly rectified with an 11.7 second half.
