PORT ADELAIDE’s Ollie Wines has been nominated as the Fans’ Most Valuable Player as part of the AFL Fan Awards.
The AFL Fan Awards will run over three weeks, giving supporters the chance to decide the winner on six categories.
The awards are fan voted and include categories for the “moment of the year”, “most improved player”, “match winning moment”, “social superstar” and “game of the year”.
Voting for the Fans’ MVP opened on Friday 27 August and closes on Wednesday 1 September at 4:30pm ACST with the other categories to open later.

Wines has had an outstanding season, recording career best averages for disposals (32.1) and clearances (5.9) and is among the favourites for the Brownlow Medal.
The Port Adelaide vice captain is nominated for the MVP award alongside Western Bulldog Marcus Bontempelli, Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver and Carlton’s Sam Walsh.
There are 20 prize packs to be won for those who vote across the six categories. Each pack includes an AFL Silver Membership for 2022 valued at $625, a $300 voucher to use at the AFL shop and a $500 Coles gift card.
