MITCH GEORGIADES has been ruled out of Port Adelaide’s preliminary final against the Western Bulldogs.
Georgiades was subbed out of the Round 23 game against the Dogs at Marvel Stadium after experiencing hamstring tightness.
He missed the club’s qualifying final win over Geelong but played in the SANFL last week against Glenelg as part of his rehabilitation plan.
Although he pulled up well after the match, he has not recovered sufficiently to be able to compete at AFL level this week.
Port Adelaide will name its selected side for Saturday night’s game on Thursday evening.
