BULLDOGS Bryce Retzlaff and SANFL Star Search winner Chris Jansen won't play against Port Adelaide in Sunday’s first semi final at the Adelaide Oval.
Fresh from a 44-point demolition of defending premiers Norwood, Central Distirct coach Roy Laird has kept the duo on ice for the match.
Retzlaff (hamstring) and Jansen (knees) were close to selection but ulitimately unable to come up.
It means the Bulldogs might present an unchanged line-up on Sunday at 12:10pm when they take on a Port Adelaide looking to keep its September dream alive following a 29-point loss to West Adelaide.
The Bulldogs included forward Dallas Hill and draft prospect Wayne Milera on their extended bench.
Port Adelaide named John Butcher, Karl Amon and Anthony Biemans in its side for the semi final.
