The Port Adelaide Football Club is aware of a complaint to police which led to a spectator being ejected from last night’s game between Port Adelaide and Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
The club is waiting on a report from the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority and will make no further comment until it has more information.
Port Adelaide released a spectator code of conduct last June reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe, comfortable and exciting game-day experience for all members and supporters.
As part of the spectator code of conduct the club will not tolerate vilification or unruly behaviour of any form and reserves the right to revoke memberships or casual game day tickets should any offence be committed and should a situation warranting a ban arise.
Port Adelaide urges anyone with more information relating to Sunday’s alleged incident to contact the club.
