PORT ADELAIDE will have several new faces in its SANFL side for Friday’s season-opening clash against the Crows at Adelaide Oval.
AFL-listed recruits Jeremy Finlayson, Josh Sinn, Dante Visentini and Hugh Jackson have been named for their respective SANFL debuts.
Matthew Lokan’s team will also feature former Norwood premiership player Anthony Wilson in a forward pocket, former Woodville-West Torrens midfielder Jackson Lee on a wing and former North Adelaide defender Brayden Kirk in the back pocket.
West Adelaide product Kye Roberts, who makes his way to Port Adelaide through a new SANFL Rookie program, has also been listed on the interchange.
Brothers Trent and Jase Burgoyne have been named to line up alongside each other for the first time for the club after the former’s return to Alberton in the off-season.
AFL emergencies Trent Dumont, Xavier Duursma, Martin Frederick and Sam Hayes have not been named but could be included if not required in the AFL Showdown which will follow the SANFL contest.
The game at Adelaide Oval gets underway from 4:10pm.
