IN: Farrell, Wines

OUT: Amon (omitted), Mead (omitted)

KANE FARRELL has been named for his first AFL game in nine months and Brownlow Medallist Ollie Wines will make his return for Port Adelaide’s Anzac Round match against West Coast.

Farrell has played twice in the SANFL since having a knee reconstruction last July and has been rewarded for strong showings against South Adelaide and Norwood in the past fortnight.

Wines has been cleared to play after a spontaneous heart irregularity resolved itself. The club vice-captain missed last week’s game against Carlton and half of the loss to Melbourne a week earlier, when he was subbed out of the game.

Wingman Karl Amon and midfielder Jackson Mead have each been omitted with Amon named among the emergencies alongside Jed McEntee, Sam Mayes and Lachie Jones.

The medical substitute will be named from among the emergencies an hour before the 4:05pm game at Adelaide Oval.

Port Adelaide’s players will wear a special Anzac Round guernsey, which will be auctioned off following the match and all proceeds donated to the RSL’s Anzac Appeal to support serving and former service men and women and their families.
